Submission Categories

Submit your abstract under one of the following thematic tracks. Each track is reviewed by a dedicated scientific subcommittee.

Epilepsy & EEG

Pediatric epilepsy, drug-resistant seizures, EEG interpretation, and surgical evaluation.

Neurogenetics

Genetic & metabolic disorders, neuromuscular conditions, and next-generation diagnostics.

Neonatal Neurology

Hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy, neonatal seizures, and neuro-developmental follow-up.

Neurodevelopmental Disorders

Autism spectrum, ADHD, cerebral palsy, learning disabilities, and intellectual disability.

Stroke & Neuro-infections

Pediatric stroke, encephalitis, autoimmune neurology, and acute neurological care.

Free Papers & Posters

Original research, case reports, and quality-improvement initiatives by trainees and clinicians.

ABSTRACT GUIDELINES

Submission Guidelines

Please read the following guidelines carefully before submitting your abstract. Submissions not adhering to these rules will be returned to the author for correction before review.

Word Limit

Abstracts must not exceed 300 words, excluding title, authors, and affiliations.

Structured Format

Use the IMRaD structure: Introduction, Methods, Results, and Conclusion.

Presenting Author

Presenting author must be a registered delegate of Child Neurocon 2027.

Language

Abstracts must be written in clear, grammatically correct English.

Originality

Submitted work must be original and not previously published or presented at a national meeting.

Tables & Figures

A maximum of one table or figure may be embedded. Use legible labels and captions.

AWARDS & RECOGNITION

Best Paper & Poster Awards

Outstanding submissions will be recognised with the following honours during the conference’s award ceremony:

  • Best Oral Paper Award — Cash prize ₹25,000 + Certificate
  • Best Poster Award — Cash prize ₹15,000 + Certificate
  • Young Investigator Award — For presenters under 35 years
  • Travel Grant — For 10 selected international trainees
